With the approval of the PSD2 law, I conceived and developed a prototype application for managing personal funds, with a particular focus on an “anticipatory” approach and AI suggestions.
Written in Ruby, I implemented every part of the project, from initial concepts to development, to marketing strategy and presentation.
The challenge
On 13 January 2018, the Directive (EU) 2015/2366 on payment services, better known as PSD2, came into force and is fully applied from 14 September 2019.
I thought there were the chance to build a product that could be not only an online wallet but also a sort of Financial Concierge.
All-in-one
I started developing this idea by my own. I was the designer, developer, analyst, marketer, whatever. I prepared a marketing plan, campaign, brand identity and presentations both in english and italian.
